The Kassel City Hall (also known as the Kassel Congress Palace) is an event venue opened in 1914. The monumental building, constructed between 1912 and 1914, and its colonnade wing, added between 2010 and 2011, serve as a venue for exhibitions, concerts, trade fairs, and conferences.
The City Hall's monumental neoclassical portico dominates the skyline of the surrounding area.

Thanks to its central location, Kassel is easily reached from many German and European airports. Kassel is less than 90 comfortable minutes by train away from Frankfurt International.

Thanks to the high frequency of the ICE intercity trains, Kassel is well-connected to the German and European intercity railway network. You can catch a local tram or bus directly from the ICE railway station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to get to your hotel. A taxi stand is also located directly by the station.
